It Takes a Village to Make a Movie

Dear Friends,

I want you to know about my newest film project in my continuing effort to educate people about the importance of the civil justice system. The success of Hot Coffee has inspired me to get the truth out to an even broader audience. I am producing a major motion picture that fictionalizes the true story of Justice Oliver Diaz, as seen in Hot Coffee.

And I am inviting you to be a part of the process. You can make a safe, secure, tax-deductible donation to the Oliver Diaz Story through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas.

The importance of this story cannot be overstated. The US Chamber of Commerce has spent and continues to spend millions of dollars in every election cycle to buy seats on our state Supreme Courts. The Chamber's attack on Justice Diaz and his wife Jennifer is an example of the lengths that large corporations will go to get an advantage in our courts and to destroy the independence of the judiciary, all to promote its pro-business and anti-consumer agenda.

Sundance Audience Award winning director Maryam Keshavarz is co-writing the script, along with critically acclaimed screenwriter Paolo Marinou-Blanco. We are hoping for a Sundance world premiere in 2016!

We plan to shoot the film in the spring of 2015, and I am raising money to complete the development of the project. I could really use your help. Any donation would make a huge difference! Your donation is tax deductible and you can make it securely online. Please donate $5 or $5000 or anything in between at our fiscal sponsor website: Fractured Atlas/Oliver Diaz Story.

Please donate if you can. It really does take a community to get this message out. I appreciate anything you can do.

My deepest gratitude,
Susan Saladoff
